VP Marketing at Stack

We are looking for an experienced and passionate VP, Marketing to join one of the fastest growing ad tech companies in the mobile field. As VP, Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing global go-to-market, lead generation and retention strategies for both holding company (Stack) and subsidiary product companies (Appodeal, Bidmachine, Appgrowth). You will be working closely with the executive leadership across organization (Customer Success, Sales, Product and Development) and reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer of the holding company. As VP of Marketing, you’ll enhance and execute our worldwide marketing strategy to tell stories that resonate with every customer — from tiny indie developers to multi-billion publisher companies. The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable in a player-coach role, managing a small team of 4-5 people while also responsible for day-to-day execution against short, medium and long-term company goals and milestones. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing our team of high-performing product marketing professionals to ensure the success of lead gen campaigns, go-to-market launches and product adoption;
  • Lead, mentor, inspire and grow a team of marketers responsible for growth, events and corporate marketing
  • Drive demand generation strategies that build our lead funnel and convert to closed-won deals, applying customer and data insights to continuously improve conversion
  • Build relationships with Sales team to help further demand generation and enablement activities in the field
  • Build brand awareness and shape market perception through integrated campaigns in partnership with our Design and Corporate Communications teams
  • Develop our corporate narrative and thought leadership platforms to continuously increase our market leadership
  • Collaborate with and influence senior leaders across the organization

Position Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience with Product Marketing or similar niche;
  • Deep understanding of SaaS technology and expert at B2B marketing with the ability to rapidly gain an in-depth knowledge of the Stack’s set of products and ad tech industry;
  • Demonstrated experience as a people-focused leader with proven ability to build creative, collaborative teams; develop people; and link performance to overall business objectives;
  • Previous startup experience is a must: due to the specifics of the fast-changing and highly competitive market, we expect you to be flexible and resilient;
  • Experience with determining product-market fit and delivering products to market;
  • A highly analytical approach;
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with Customer Success and other departments;
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success;
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
  • Good time-management skills;
  • High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative individual;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in business discussions;
  • MA/BA in marketing/advertising/communications or MBA or equivalent work experience;
  • Advanced English
